Unfortunately, even in 2020, there appears to be a general perception that taking care of your skin is something that only women tend to do. Combine this with the average guy’s lack of education about skincare, plus an aversion to spending time and money on something he wasn’t taught to value and we have potentially wound up with generations of men who are missing out on the chance for healthier skin! Seems crazy right? Especially when men suffer the same skincare woes as women and we often find our partners sneakily using our skincare on the sly!

I have created our products here at BEMORA to be completely suitable for both sexes as good skin isn’t about gender, it’s another way of taking care of yourself! We thankfully have many male customers using and loving our products, as the vast majority are scent free and any existing scent is just of the natural ingredients. If you’re a slightly skincare challenged man reading this or you know a man in your life who needs a point in the right direction, I’ve popped together my tips for getting the most out of your skincare routine (definitely without a million steps)!

If you’re someone whose skincare routine once consisted of soapy shower run-off the best advice, I can give is to start off slow and only adopt things into a routine you can realistically stick to.  As I’ve said before less really is more (for everyone!) I’d recommend starting out with a quality cleanser and moisturiser so you can really feel, smell, and experience the difference of premium products and stick to applying morning and evening for two weeks. You should be able to notice a difference in your skin and then be already halfway there to maintaining the habit.

If you ever suffer with post-shave rash or blemishes around your T-Zone the Addicted to Clean Oil-To-Milk Cleanser is suitable for all skin types but is particularly good for sensitive skin and for those of you affected by acne, blemish prone complexions.  Simply apply to the skin, add a dash of water on your fingers and rinse with cool water, pat dry with a soft cloth and you’re DONE!

While you may have been shaving all over or in targeted areas for years or decades by now, have you been doing so with your skin’s best interests in mind? Pay attention to your shaving technique. If you’re experiencing razor bumps, burns or ingrown hairs it could be down to how your shaving (i.e. pulling the skin taut or using a multi-blade razor) but it could also be down to your skin not receiving the proper aftercare. Keeping your skin soothed and moisturised can go a long way to reducing those shaving issues by keeping the skin subtle allowing the hairs to penetrate easily.  Our 100% natural, high performance facial moisturiser / face oil are packed with skin loving superfoods to nourish and hydrate your skin. The Collagen Boost Superfood Mega Moisturiser contains powerful antioxidant ingredients and amino acid rich plant oils to maintain your skin’s hydration, texture, resilience, and an overall supple, healthy appearance. The Protect & Rejuvenate Instant Glow Elixir, it is non-greasy, fast absorbing, contains a unique blend of essential oils that help calm, soothe and balance your skin, sharing their powerful anti-inflammatory properties.

One of the most common skin concerns I hear from men is fighting signs of fatigue which often start around the eye area. Dark circles, fine lines and wrinkles and even dry patches can all be combatted by an eye cream. Now I know its an additional step but if you’re looking for something to hide those late nights and too many pints at the pub on the weekends this will be your best friend! The Nourish and Brightening SOS Eye recovery cream actively reduces dark circles and puffiness with each application so day after day you can work on reviving the appearance of tired and overworked eyes.

There you have it – a simplified and effective skincare routine containing just three products! You’re welcome…
